Because a broker committing spend to a supplier is entitled to see whether the product is actually being worked on, and to see when something they depend on changed. A dated record of shipped changes is harder to overstate than a marketing page.
Changes that affect a broker: how enquiries are verified, how they are routed and delivered, what the portal can do, how disputes are raised and credited, and how invoicing works. Internal refactoring and design changes are not listed, because they do not change what a buyer receives.
Planned work. Anything not yet shipped belongs on the roadmap page and is described there as intent rather than capability. Mixing the two is how a supplier ends up being compared on features it does not have yet.
